Connectivity

Vadodara is very close to the World’s Tallest Statue, The Statue of Unity, making it a hot layover destination for tourists travelling to Statue of Unity. The ruins of Champaner is a world heritage site which attracts a lot of global tourists. Very close to the city is also famous pilgrim destination by the name of Pavagarh which attracts thousands of Indian and Global tourists.

The city is known for its historically important monuments and palaces such as Laxmi Vilas Palace and Makarpura Palace. Laxmi Vilas Palace is one of the biggest palaces, even bigger than Buckingham Palace. Vadodara has some of the most interesting museums including Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery and Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum. You will see a lot of paintings, especially the collection of paintings by the much acclaimed Indian painter, Raja Ravi Varma.
